Next Meeting: 26-Oct-16 The Appley Bridge Meteorite
The next Society meeting, on Wednesday 26-Oct-16, includes a talk on "The Appley Bridge Meteorite" by Russel Parry who has written a book on the subject. This promises to be exciting and very interesting given the date it fell to earth and you might even get the chance to touch an object that, at 4,560 million years old, is one third the age of the universe.
